Concert with Kvonn + Kalas

Kvonn is group of musicians from the Faroe Islands that plays traditional and contemporary folk music from Scandinavia. Kvonn's repertoire includes music composed by the band members, as well as traditional tunes.

Mikael Blak, bass

Kalas is a folk music group which consists of 4 young faroesewomen. Their musical journey started in primary school, and they’ve all beenplaying since. In 2017 they started playing folkmusic, when they were a part ofa folkmusic festival in Finland. It was here that the group Kalas wasestablished. They’ve been to multiple festivals abroad since then, making theirrepertoire both Faroese and international music.
