The legendary Icelandic band HAM is visiting their buddies 200 in November.

The friendship started way back in the 2000s when they both played at Norðurbryggjuni. The last time they shared a stage was in Reykjavík in 2023, and when making 200 new album Reytt Pass where Óttar Proppe from HAM was featured on the song “Kristin Dómur”.

The time has come for HAM to visit 200 in The Faroe Islands and they will preform in OY!

Klingra in the Faroe Islands

There’s once again an opportunity to experience the Faroese/Nordic music group Klingra live in the Faroe Islands.

The concert takes place Friday, November 21 at OY in Tórshavn.

The concert is scheduled in connection with the band members gathering in the Faroe Islands to work on new material. According to the group themselves, the new music is more pop-oriented and energetic — and some of the new songs will also be performed at the November concert.

The members come from the Faroe Islands, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, and Norway. They are all professional musicians with extensive experience from projects such as Jack White, Savage Rose, Afenginn, and Teitur. These musical talents truly manage to create their own space — one where they carefully explore every detail, crafting a soundscape that merges atmospheric pop with electronic music.

The members of Klingra are excited to perform in the Faroe Islands again and to try out new material. Their goal remains the same — even with the more lively and pop-inspired songs — to invite the listener into an artistic universe that leaves room for thoughts and emotions, where Ting Taka Ta Tíð Tey Taka… tick… tock… tick… tock — so that you stop and listen.

Marius DC at OY

Marius DC has just returned from Iceland Airwaves, where audiences were caught by surprise and critics praised the Faroese rapper and his outstanding band. On November 22, we’ll get to experience him live in OY.

At two well-attended concerts in the Icelandic capital, Marius DC truly set the crowd on fire — it was lively, fun, cozy, and even a bit emotional. For example, at the venue Iðnó, the audience ended up in one big group hug, with both Icelanders and Faroese singing along to the chorus: “Leggur tú enn í”.

The reviewer from Reykjavík Grapevine didn’t hold back:

“Marius DC is the reason the term ‘Faroese rap’ exists and God, he’s a fucking national treasure.”

Even if that might be a bit of an exaggeration, we’re thrilled to have the chance to experience him at OY.

There will be an opportunity to dive into tracks from his album Listamaður, as well as well-known songs like Erligur, Slættaratindur, and Babyrokkarar, along with some new material — and who knows, maybe a special guest or two will join him.
